Weird Compressor Results

I did a test on the supercharger power output with MEC, and there's an oddity here: At sea level, SC Stage 2 is superior to Stage 1 IF you're using WEP, otherwise the figures look like this:

Compressor Optimal altitude 100% Engine power WEP Engine power
Setting 1 300 m 2,000 hp 2,154 hp
Setting 2 2,500 m 1,610 hp 2,096 hp

Which is nice and all, but if you ARE using WEP:

Under 575m Stage 1 takes the lead by a bit, but at 575m they are equal, and then Stage 2 takes the lead, entirely. Stage 1 & 2: 575m = ~2080 hp

At 2000m Stage 1: 1750 hp Stage 2: 2085 hp

But without WEP, Stage 1 is at 1750 hp vs Stage 2 with 1600 hp.

How do you even chart this, and should you? It's so confusing.
