Description

The Motoconvertibili Freccia-class was a group of 2 convertible gunboats derived from the MC Lampo-class built for the Marina Militare Italiana during the Cold War.

The MC Freccia-class is a class of 2 ships that have a convertible armament configuration:

Gun boat configuration: armament composed by three 40 mm/70 Breda-Bofors type 107 auto cannons or composed by two 40 mm/70 Breda-Bofors type 107 auto cannons and a Anti-Ship Missile launcher

Torpedo boat configuration: armament composed by two 40 mm/70 Breda-Bofors type 107 auto cannons and two torpedo launchers or armament composed by one 40 mm/70 Breda-Bofors type 107 auto cannon and four Torpedoes launchers
