Comparison with analogues

Give a comparative description of cannons/machine guns that have firepower equal to this weapon.

Usage in battles

Describe the cannon/machine gun in the game - its distinctive features, tactics of usage against notable opponents. Please don't write a "guide" - do not impose a single point of view, but give the reader food for thought.

Pros and cons

Pros:

  • High penetration HEAT round
  • HEAT round features decent explosive filler, something uncommon for British vehicles
  • HEAT round can overpressure vehicles with thin armour
  • Capable of shooting over some obstacles

Cons:

  • Low muzzle velocity makes shooting at long range difficult
  • Long reload

History

In 1942, a project for a 3.75 inch (95 mm) howitzer was started. Two guns were made, and one of these was chosen for test mounting on a Light Tank Mk VIII "Harry Hopkins" chassis, leading to creation of the "Harry Hopkins Mk I CS", later renamed Alecto I.

Media

Excellent additions to the article would be video guides, screenshots from the game, and photos.
