If you check the version history, both images are identical, but have different file size data. I talked to supermariops and I've come to a conclusion it's a bug related to how wiki works, although he reckons the media server is just slow. Because I had initially uploaded the change with an identical file name, the file history version shows an identical image, but it won't let me correct this until I actually upload a third change to the image because the image with the stick moved has already been uploaded to the server thereby checksum is catching and is therefore blocking the attempted reupload fix. Try "force-refreshing" the file page (File:MiG-17_Cockpit_(2022).png) by shift-clicking the refresh button or ctrl+F5 on most browsers, it's likely that the original image is just cached in your browser. - DnaGonite (talk) 12:33, 13 October 2022 (UTC)

I did try that, but it didn't work. Either way the problem did resolve itself afterall as supermariops had mentioned. ZdrytchX (talk) 13:03, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
