Description
The M6 Heavy was one of the first American Heavy tanks, developed by Baldwin Locomotive as a part of the T1 heavy tank programme of 1940. The first production tank, T1E1, was delivered in December 1941, with production of the series lasting until 1944. The hull of the T1E1 was used in the development of the T29 family as the M6A2E1.
