The Pr.1204 was a Soviet armoured gunboat developed in 1965, intended to replace the outdated Pr.191M. Initially, the plan was to mount the experimental PT-90 tank turret as the main cannon, but since the tank did not enter production, the boat received a 76 mm D-56TS tank gun, in the same turret as the PT-76B. Production of the boat started in 1967, with a further upgrade beginning in 1970. A total of around 118 Pr.1204s were built between 1967 and 1972. 56 boats were used by the Soviet Navy, while the remaining 62 were deployed by the Soviet Border Troops. Eventually, the Soviet Navy felt the boat was underperforming, and almost all were transferred to the Soviet Border Troops.
Introduced in Update 1.91 "Night Vision", the Pr.1204 performs similarly to its predecessor, the Pr.191 armoured boat, but it has better speed, making it a little bit easier to move around the map. Its main cannon, the 76 mm D-56TS, has both HE and APHE shells that can damage light and heavily armoured targets. It is also equipped with 14.5 mm KPV heavy machine guns, capable of destroying enemy boats with a well-placed shot in a short time. Additionally, it carries YAM-43 small coastal mines that can be used to block enemy paths to strategic points.
