The A30 Avenger SP2 is a self-propelled anti-tank gun based on the A30 Challenger medium tank. It was designed to be lighter and smaller than the Challenger. However, it was too late for the war; testing continued until the summer of 1945. A total of 80 vehicles were produced and used by two battalions. All SPGs were decommissioned in 1949.

However, it has some disadvantages: weak protection, poor reverse speed, and slow turret rotation. These features allow the Avenger to comfortably play the role of an ambush sniper and quickly change position, but they will tank's efficiency in urban combat.
