The Type T-14 is a series of small, single-engine Japanese torpedo boats built from 1944 to 1945. Despite their small size, they were well equipped to engage the enemy with a 920 hp gasoline engine and armaments consisting of two 450 mm Type 2 torpedoes and six 160 kg depth charges. Later versions of the boat had an anti-aircraft armament consisting of a 25 mm Type 96 autocannon, unlike earlier versions. Boats of this series remained in service until the end of World War II.
The Type T-14 (Mod. 1) was introduced in Update 1.89 "Imperial Navy". This version has a good selection of additional armaments and a 25mm automatic cannon, allowing it to effectively counter most opponents. One of the disadvantages is the small number of shells in its belts.
