The C1 Ariete "Certezza" is a standard C1 Ariete Production, modified with two long exhausts. The nature of this modification was suspected to be for the Ariete's potential participation in the 2014 Tank Biathlon, as the standard exhaust produces a lot of black smoke and would be significantly visible. The C1 Ariete "Certezza"'s most notable usage was during the 20th Course Certezza at Viterbo in 2020 for training 12 marshals, with a training time of 10 months—a long time caused by the COVID-19 lockdown. New e-learning methods with simulators and theoretical formation were developed for the first time without having a direct lesson. During the final days of the Certezza Course, final training was conducted locally at Viterbo, involving B1 Centauro Serie III and C1 Arietes.
Introduced in Update "Hornet’s Sting", the C1 Ariete "Certezza" is a premium tank and is identical to the C1 Ariete Production in the researchable tech tree. The vehicle has some good-looking decorations, such as a camo net and larger exhausts. The Ariete carries the DM53 APFSDS shell, one of the best shells available. It has the WAR Kit, an armour add-on package on the front turret designed for kinetic protection; meanwhile, other parts of the armour are terrible, and the vehicle needs to be used more tactically. Ultimately, the vehicle has decent speed and manoeuvrability.
