The MG on the Ratel 20 can be used to guide the Milan ATGM. If you find yourself in a situation where the depression of the main gun is insufficient to guide the Milan, or a situation where the main gun is too low to see above a ledge, you can switch to the Machine gun and use it to guide the Milan.
