There exists a range of additional flags that may be used on User pages. You also might want an appropriate flag for the time period of your subject; for example:

    • FRG flag.png (1919-1933)
    • Germany flag.png (1934-1945)
    • GDR flag.png (east, 1949-1990) / FRG flag.png (west, 1949-1990)
