The Project 11451 "Sokol" series of small anti-submarine hydrofoil corvettes was developed in the 1970s based on the experimental Project 1141 ship. These corvettes were designed to protect the fleet from enemy submarines and participate in submarine hunting as part of small groups. To this end, the boats were equipped with a submersible hydroacoustic station with a large search radius. They also had a very high speed and a significant arsenal for combating enemy submarines. Four boats were built, two of which, MPK-215 and MPK-220, joined the USSR's Black Sea Fleet in December 1987 and December 1990, respectively. Two others, named Luhansk and Lviv (hull numbers 503 and 504), were laid down in 1989 and 1990, respectively, and were intended for the Ukrainian navy after the Soviet Union collapse, but were never finished. Currently, all ships of this project have been decommissioned.
The MPK Pr.11451 was introduced in Update 2.37 "Seek & Destroy". The boat has an incredibly high speed and is equipped with serious artillery, but has poor survivability.
