Migrate Installation

This section will teach you how to migrate from the standalone client to the steam client and vice versa. You need to know the installation for both the source installation and the target installation. Do not delete your present version before installing the target.

1. Export Controls
   1. Click the settings icon in the top left corner of your screen.
      1. Click the Export controls button in the bottom left of the settings window. It looks like an old school disk and is to the right of the Controls Setup Wizard.
      2. Choose a folder to save the config to.
2. Copy configuration
   1. Copy the config.blk from the source folder to the target
3. Copy Sights
   1. Copy the folder UserSights from source to target
4. Copy Skins
   1. Copy the folder UserSkins from source to target
5. Import controls
   1. Start the target War Thunder client. It should already use your screen/graphics settings.
   2. Click the settings icon in the top left corner of your screen.
   3. Click the import from file button . It looks like a folder and is right of the Controls Setup Wizard.
   4. Locate your previously exported file and import controls
