Survivability and armour
plane does not have any armor instaled
fuel tanks in usualy places wings and around engine
game has not implemented self sealing fuel tanks when on fire or automatic engine fire extinguishers
usualy its 1 single pistol round and you can go towards the ground only

Usage in battles
In realistic battles you pray and runn awayyyyy for as long as gaigin ont give a update for geting beter mistiles right from the start othewrise gunn spread is insane so ground attacking is no go and stock 10g 1,7-mach mistiles will be outrunn and outurned by anything on its br.
prepare atleast 500k credits if going to grind that plane from stock as it usualy gets no xp per battle at all when its stock
you need to take looots of fuel or else will be not able to use afterburner (1s afterburing eats around 7-10 s of fuel time and because of that 50 m fuel time will be enought for 15 minutes if you going to use afterburner)
weapons firerate is nowerenear real ground atack plane so you might need more than single pass above light bunker. (not recomended plane gets poor xp for atacking ground targets aparently 56xp per battle for whole mag of bullets to ground targets will be good given stock aquarcy of the weapons)
and spread makes balistic computer usles completly so its recomended to forget it exists on that plane.
On low speed (less than 750km/h) plane roll is extreeemly poor and despite being able to turn well you might not be able to turn precise enought to get a shot at enemy planes
as general rule if you face 2 vs 1 you can already give up 2 enemies will bleed you from speed and you will die 100% of the time
also plane is equiped with thrust reverser bug gaigin made it unable to use in air only on the ground
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Excellent top speed at sea-Level
- Strong guns with two gunpods
- Access to AIM-9J
- Access to Maverick air-to-ground missiles (RB 75)
Cons:
- CAS options available do not allow bringing more than one type of missile, rocket, or bomb
- Bleeds energy quickly with tight turns
- Countermeasures restrict maximum allowed suspended armaments
History
Describe the history of the creation and combat usage of the aircraft in more detail than in the introduction. If the historical reference turns out to be too long, take it to a separate article, taking a link to the article about the vehicle and adding a block "/History" (example: https://wiki.warthunder.com/(Vehicle-name)/History) and add a link to it here using the main
template. Be sure to reference text and sources by using <ref></ref>
, as well as adding them at the end of the article with <references />
. This section may also include the vehicle's dev blog entry (if applicable) and the in-game encyclopedia description (under === In-game description ===
, also if applicable).
Media
Excellent additions to the article would be video guides, screenshots from the game, and photos.
