The game mode differs significantly between the commander, officers and ordinary members of a squadron. Commanders and officers are able to choose which operations their squadrons will participate in, move forces in real time on the operational map, and initiate battles. But soldiers are called upon to make a decisive contribution to the battles in World War operations.

Additionally, we should mention about choosing the aircraft payloads in World War mode. Before every mission the commander can choose the appropriate type of payload personally.   • Armour vs Infantry – Convoy
  • Armour vs Infantry (Fortified) or Armour (Fortified) – Defence

The type of terrain does not affect the choice of the mission location.
