Comparison with analogues

Usage in battles

Used as a General purpose bomb for the most part will do nearly the same amount of damage as the US 2000lb Bombs of ranks 1-4

If your trying to take out naval craft with it For Air RB, SB and Even naval RB/AB when using one of the dive bombers try and fly in a Normal Dive pattern with dropping the mine in front of the vessels course to Maximize it hitting while it also works as a Contact fuse bomb hitting the ships bow or side (Including the keel) will more likely result in a sinking due to the flooding damage that incurs after the fact (similarly to a torpedo), it also usually has enough HE to light the target ship on fire even if the ship droves over the mine and it explodes below the water line, other plane strategies Level bombing with them in the path as well (for the heavy bombers that carry them i.e PB4Y's, PBY's, PBM Mariner and, PV-2D Harpoon.

Pros and cons

Sumerise and briefly evaluate the weaponry in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark pros and cons as a list.

Pros:

Very good weapon can be used in both anti-shipping and Anti ground warfare.

One shots both Tanks and Ships alike up to certain Ship types (i.e Light Cruiser will be pushing its 1 shot capability how ever it will cripple a Light cruiser if it is either dropped or run over by it)

A 1000lb Piece of ordinance with the power of a 2000lb piece of ordinance

Cons:

The amount of aircraft which carry it is fairly small in the 4 Nations that have them available in the tree's with the US being the Most Numerous of planes which can carry the weapon system from BR 1.3 being the Lowest and 6.7 being the highest of which the US planes that can carry them.

The planes that carry them mostly carry them in very small amounts so if trying to lay a Mine field is what your after it will take multiple trips unless you bring friends

History

Examine the history of the creation and combat usage of the weapon in more detail than in the introduction. If the historical reference turns out to be too long, take it to a separate article, taking a link to the article about the weapon and adding a block "/History" (example: https://wiki.warthunder.com/(Weapon-name)/History) and add a link to it here using the main template. Be sure to reference text and sources by using <ref></ref>, as well as adding them at the end of the article with <references />.

Media

Excellent additions to the article would be video guides, screenshots from the game, and photos.
