Description

Serving as the first dedicated Anti Tank guns of germany, 3.7cm PaK 36 served from 1936 to the end of the war

Phasing out began in 1940 due to insufficent armor penetration, being replaced from frontal units with PaK38 (50 mm) and later in 1941 with PaK40/3 L46 (75 mm)

With production ending in 1942 with 20 000 produced, the remaining would go on to be given to german allies, mounted on half tracks, and serving as secondary line guns to the end of the war
