Armaments

Suspended armament

The He 111 H-16 can carry the following ordinance:

  • 32 x 50 kg SC50JA bombs
  • 8 x 250 kg SC250JA bombs
  • 2 x 1000 kg SC1000L2 bombs
  • 2 x 1000 kg SC1000L2 bombs + 1 x 250kg SC250JA bomb

Defensive armament

The He 111 H-16 can defend itself with:

  • 1 x 20 mm MG FF/M cannon, nose turret (120 rpg)
  • 1 x 13 mm MG 131 machine gun, dorsal turret (1,000 rpg)
  • 2 x 7.92 mm MG 81 machine gun, ventral turret (1,000 + 850 rpg = 1,850 total)
  • 1 x 7.92 mm MG 81 machine gun, 2 x beam turret (500 rpg = 1,000 total)

Usage in the battles

In Arcade, try to maximize altitude upon spawning; this will make it harder for most fighters to reach you in the early moments (only for ground strike). However, this leaves your poorly defended underbelly open to most attacks, so a fighter with a decent engine could easily catch up and take you down. History

Describe the history of the creation and combat usage of the aircraft in more detail than in the introduction. If the historical reference turns out to be too big, take it to a separate article, taking a link to an article about the vehicle and adding a block "/ historical reference" (example: https://wiki.warthunder.com/Name-vehicles/historical reference) and add a link to it here using the main template. Be sure to include links to sources at the end of the article.

Media

An excellent addition to the article will be video guides, as well as screenshots from the game and photos.
