Description A U.S. Navy aviation ordnanceman loads the fuselage .50 caliber machineguns of a Brewster F2A Buffalo fighter with ammunition, at Naval Air Station Miami, Florida (USA), 9 April 1943. The F2A was then in use as a training aircraft. Note 3:1 ratio of black-tipped armor-piercing ammunition to red-tipped tracer ammunition.
