History

When the Regio Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force) decided to change the F.C.20 Bis from a reconnaissance bomber to a ground attack aircraft, there was a need to put a cannon in the nose of the plane. To arm the F.C.20, the Regio Aeronautica mounted a variant of the 37 mm/54 Breda Mod.39, the standard naval anti-aircraft weapon of the Regio Marina (Royal Italian Navy). However, they only barely reached squadron service before the Italian Armistice in 1943.

Media

Excellent additions to the article would be video guides, screenshots from the game, and photos.
