Battle for Caen

A tank battle between the 2nd British Army and the 1st German SS tank corps which took place between the 26th of June and the 6th of August 1944.[1]

Scenario tasks

Victory will be awarded to the team that first fulfills at least one of the tasks in the scenario within the allotted time.

Victory will not be awarded for additional tasks.

Britain
  • Capture at least 2 sectors from I4,I5,J5 (Caen city) within 2 hours.
  • Capture at least 72% of the sectors within 2 hours.
  • Prevent enemy superiority in number over vehicles 3 times.
  • (Additional) Capture sector D5 sector (to increase the arrival speed of reinforcements).
 Germany
  • Hold at least 2 sectors from I4,I5,J5 (Caen city) for 2 hours.
  • Hold at least 29% of the sectors for 2 hours.
  • Gain superiority in numbers over vehicles 3 times.
  • (Additional) Capture sector D5 (to increase the arrival speed of reinforcements).
