Description
The AN/APG-26 is an American airborne target tracking radar. In-game it is found fitted in conjunction with the AN/APS-21 target detection (search) radar.

General info / usage
The AN/APG-26 is a target tracking radar so can lock onto targets providing the player with ranging and closing speed information. The radar can lock onto targets at a range of only 4 km, so the AN/APS-21 should be used to detect targets at longer ranges.

Comparison with analogues
Compared the the Soviet RP-5 tracking radar the AN/APG-26 has slightly worse minimum and maximum ranges, but wider tracking angles.

History
