General info

The F1M2 in the garage.

The F1M2 is a Rank I Japanese hydroplane with a battle rating of 1.0 (AB/RB/SB). It was in the game since the start of the Open Beta Test prior to Update 1.29.

The main purpose, usage and tactics recommendations

General play style

Fast, agile, the F1M2 is a formidable aircraft for its rank. Being at a low BR, it is able to compete with most aircraft up to 1.7 BR; its defensive weaponry makes it even more lethal. Although not a dedicated fighter it can still perform well at manoeuvres, out turning most mono-plane based aircraft. However it cannot out turn or outrun the biplane/reserve line of aircraft for all nations.
