General information

The MZ1 was the lead ship of a German project for a promising multipurpose boat (German: Mehrzweckboot) created at the end of World War II. Laid down at the H.C. Stülcken Werft shipyard in Hamburg on October 12, 1943, it was launched on April 16, 1944, and entered service on August 29 of that year. The MZ1 was the only completed vessel of the project. In 1945, it fell into the hands of the British occupation forces, who sent it to England for study.

The MZ1 was introduced in Update 1.77 "Advancing Storm". Equipped with guns of various calibers, torpedoes, and depth charges, the boat can perform any task one may want from a coastal. Its disadvantages include its large size and low speed.
